Now, as we all know the budget smartphone segment is the most competitive segment in the Indian mobile market, as a number of high quality smartphone models are already available currently under the Rs. 10k mark. Among the many budget smartphone rivals in the market, the newly launched Moto E3 Power will go up against its own cousin the new Moto G4 Play, as both falls in the same segment with very little price difference.
So, one may get easily confused as to which new Moto phone to go for, the Moto E3 Power or the Moto G4 Play? Here is a comparison between the two Moto models to help you make an informed decision.
Moto E3 Power Vs Moto G4 Play
The new Moto E3 Power comes flaunting an HD 5-inch large screen with a 720 x 1,080 pixel resolution and resulting pixel density of 294 ppi. This makes the display nice, but not very good due to the low ppi, as the budget mobile market of India is quite hot with higher resolution screens.
Nothing is different with the Moto G4 Play, as this model too offers the same quality 5 inch IPS LCD screen with an HD resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels along with 294 ppi. So, going by the screen quality, both the models are absolutely identical.

The Moto G4 Play also comes with everything good that the E3 Power comes with, sans the powerful battery.
However, the Moto G4 Plus offers a better processor for a smoother performance meant for heavy gamers and more expandable storage space as well. So, one might opt for the G4 Plus over the E3 Power, if a better and faster performance is desired for a mere extra one thousand rupees. On the other hand, if your budget is too strict and a longer battery life is what you desire more, then the Moto E3 Power is the perfect pick.
To keep it short, both these Moto smartphones are really good for their asking price. Although a few of their market competitors are even more attractive, if you are a Moto smartphone fan, then you can confidently choose any of these two.
